I'm using an avatar on my blog because I thought it would be interesting to think about how another culture might use technology, especially in libraries. The culture I'm using was created by my husband, Joe O'Callaghan, over a period of many years. He prefers to write about more serious things, so he gave me permission to draw on this population.
